CAKE Photography Contest Readers' opportunity to vote for their |
In preparing this New Year's 2009 edition of CAKE, we took one final wistful glimpse at the visionary 2008 Photographs Of The Month and - before consigning them to the Archives - decided we had to bring them back for a final curtain call. A notion which evolved into, "Why don't we offer a Photography Contest - with prizes! - and let readers vote for their favorite 2008 image?!"
Adding the Photograph Of The Month was a defining moment in CAKE's young history. We put out a call to regional photographers for out-of-the-ordinary Wedding shots and they collectively dropped The Bomb! We have a penchant for eye candy and the 2008 body of work was indeed a feast for the eyes. We fist-bump these artists, standing in awe of the gold standard they set with their heart-stopping photographs. Wine Country is in their debt!

2009, we want to share an exciting new development - CAKE's partnering with
Neighbors Newspaper. The result being, a newly minted,
hot-off-the-press supplementary section in Neighbors Newspaper: "WINE
COUNTRY WEDDINGS."
The Wine Country Weddings section will feature CAKE and other Wedding pundits from the Temecula Valley presenting Wedding articles for the benefit of Brides, guiding them through the maze of planning their Special Day, all the while touting what a gift from the gods it is to be wed in Wine Country! In addition, Wine Country Weddings will include advertising opportunities for wineries and Wedding vendors, including display ads in the Wine Country Weddings section of Neighbors Newspaper, directory listings on NeighborsNewspaper.com and banner ads on CAKE Wedding Newsletter.
